Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Electrification division.This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of customer experience and contribute to the enhancement of our customer engagement strategies.You will be mainly accountable for:Research and Analysis:• Analyze current customer visit processes incl. feedback from customers, identify areas for improvement and conduct thorough research on best practices/innovative approachesConcept Development:• Develop a detailed and innovative concept / structured plan for customer visits as well as the design and implementation of a new "showroom"• Consider new technologies to find innovative solutions (AI, AR...)• Develop supporting materials such as guides, templates, and training documents for staff involved in customer visits Reporting:• Document the entire process and create a comprehensive report outlining the research, concept development, implementation, and outcomes

Qualifications for the role
 

  • Currently pursuing a Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field
  • Candidates who intend to use this internship for their Masterthesis are highly encouraged
  • You possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are at ease communicating in German and English, any other language is an advantage
  • You have strong research and analytical skills, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • You are curious and affine to innovative solutions (AI, AR...) with basic understanding of customer experience principles and practices
  • You are highly motivated and eager to learn, detail-oriented and organized
  • You are flexible with strong interpersonal skills and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities
  • You hold a current valid VISA/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation for a mandatory internship from your university
