Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for:• Developing and implementing test frameworks (HIL, vHIL) and validating control algorithms for optimal system performance and reliability.• Designing and refining feedback systems, control loops, and model-based solutions tailored to product and system requirements.• Analyzing test data, resolving system issues, and optimizing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.• Working with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge technologies and ensuring alignment with regulatory and performance requirements.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Research & Development
- You are at ease communicating in English
- Proven experience in Python development and hands-on performance testing (vHIL, HIL).
- Proficiency in excitation domain testing, test framework maintenance, and control loop specifications.
- Expertise in UNITROL system development/maintenance, grid code compliance, and TSA project support (GCC, CPRI).
- Strong L4 support experience, software classification skills, and familiarity with excitation systems and applications (preferred).
- You're eligible to work in Switzerland
